My family and I started looking for a new home in the DFW area in 2002 as we began to relocate from out of state. We were familiar with the area, so the communities to north of DFW airport were where we focused our hunting. We considered most of the usual neighborhoods and once we drove through the gates of Chateau du Lac, the choice was made. The natural beauty, the security, access to Flower Mound schools and so many other parts of the development ended our search on the property we now call home.
